"Aloha! I just had to let you know that I am thrilled with your company. I have been looking for Hawaiian fabric for over a year to make pillow cases for my teenage girls' bedroom. I took a chance and ordered three selections from you, sight unseen, over the internet. Not only was the order here within a week, the fabrics are even nicer than I expected! Thanks for your outstanding service."

Materials Needed

Preparation

  1. Make sure to straighten all cut edges of your fabric.
  2. Cut batting to size (72" x 60")
  3. Lay our your printed fabric facing right side up.
  4. Next lay down your fleece.
  5. Now lay down the canvas or denim facing down on the fleece.
  6. Lay batting out on the wrong side of the canvas or denim.

Construction

  1. Sew the top, bottom, and one side, leaving the other side open. Trim excess.
  2. With the open edge turn inside out.

Zipper

  1. (You can sew bias tape to edges before adding zipper to make the zipper easier to sew. Sew bias tape to the unstiched edge of the fleece, as well as to the unsewn edge of the canvas/batting/printed fabric layer.)
  2. Take apart zipper so that you have two pieces. Pin one piece of the zipper to the open side of canvas or denim. Stitch zipper to canvas/denim layers.
  3. Pin the other half of the zipper to the fleece. Be sure to line up and match the zipper before you stitch.
  4. Add zipper pull aftger stitching zipper to fleece.
  5. Finally put your zipper stopper at the end/bottom of your zipper.

Congratulations, You're Done!
