Monthly Project for March, 2003

Sewing Machine Cover

Take a moment to recall all the projects you have sewn for your home, family and friends and give yourself a pat on the back! But have you been nice to your sewing machine lately? Now would be a good time to take it in for a tune-up or give it a good cleaning and a new needle. This month's project is dedicated to our hard working sewing machines that allow us to create such wonderful projects. Our machine cover uses only 1 piece of fabric (2 pieces for a nap design). The focus fabric with quilting kitty cats is very cute and should fit into any sewing room decor. Order a few extra yards and make matching curtains and chair covers for a whole room make over! If you have any questions please email: lani@gotfabric.com.

Aloha,
Lani

Finish seams overlock/serge/pink. Place cover on machine, pin/mark hem; press, topstitch.

Optional: Place grosgrain ribbon approx. 1-1/2" above hem and topstitch with matching or contrasting thread.

Embellishments: applique, quilt block, scissor pocket, piping, lace trim - let your imagination run free!
