|Will I receive a printable invoice?|
|Upon completion of the order process, you will be able to print a copy of your order (recommended), and you will receive an e-mail confirmation as well. We ask that if you contact us for any reason regarding your order, to include your order number, so you may want to make note of your order number if you are not planning to print out your invoice. |
All of our transactions go through PayPal, so if you have registered for a PayPal account, you will also be able to view your invoice through their website as well.
|How secure is my personal information?|
|All orders are verified before your credit card is charged.|
Your personal information entered during the secure ordering process is encrypted using the strongest encryption technology available, and is only used to process orders.
All of our orders are processed through PayPal. If you have any concerns about submitting your payment information after reviewing their site and policies, please contact us.
|What if I want to re-order a certain fabric?|
|Although we make every effort to update our inventory as new arrivals come in, some prints are very popular and may sell out quickly or all at once. Most fabric prints are only printed once, and once we are sold out, they are no longer available. Be sure to order all you need, as the fabric you like may NOT be available when you try to re-order.|

|What is your policy on return of fabric?|
|We understand that it's often difficult to order fabric online, not being able to feel the fabric and inspect the color and quality before purchasing. Please call or e-mail us if you would like to return the fabric you have purchased. (Please understand that all sales are final on fabric that was purchased at one of our Discount Fabric Warehouse stores.)|
|What is the minimum amount of fabric I need to order?|
|The minimum amount that we are able to cut is 1/4 of a yard. There is no minimum dollar amount for an order.|
|Do you offer samples of your fabric?|
|Unfortunately, we do not offer samples of our fabric. You are able to order as little as 1/4 of a yard, which will net you a good size amount of our fabric for you to examine.|
|What if I need more fabric than I'm able to order off your site?|
|If you would like to order more fabric than is listed on the site for any particular item, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the amount of fabric you are looking to purchase. We will need to double check our inventory to see if we are able to fulfill your request. If we are unable to, we will contact you regarding a timeline for when you would need the fabric. We will then see if we are able to obtain that fabric for you. However, in many cases, the fabric is not being reprinted and we would not be able to order it for you. But we will do everything we can to help you.|
|It's been a while since I placed my order, why haven't I gotten a tracking number yet?|
|When you order is processed and shipped, you will receive a tracking number at the e-mail you used when you placed the order. If you have not gotten a tracking number and it has been more than 5 business days, there could be a number of reasons.|
1) Please check your e-mail to see if we have e-mailed you regarding your order. In rare situations, we may not be able to fulfill your order as requested and will contact you to let you know before we process the order. Before we are able to complete you order, we will need a response from you.
2) Because it is a automated system that sends out the tracking number, there may have been a glitch. Please e-mail us at email@example.com to see when your package was sent out.
3) There may have been an error with your order. This happens rarely, but technology failure is known to happen. Please e-mail us and we will see if we received your order.
|Do you charge a processing fee and sales tax?|
|Yes, we do charge a small processing and handling fee. This amount has already been included in your shipping costs. If you feel as if you are being overcharged for shipping and handling, please contact us and we will review your shipping charges. |
Hawaii customers will be charged the standard 4.167% sales tax.
|What if the fabric I ordered is out of stock?|
|As soon as we are aware that we are short or out of an item in your order, we will contact you through e-mail. If we do not hear back from you within 2 business days, we will call using the phone number provided on your PayPal invoice. We will not send out your order until we hear back from you. We will put your order on hold for a maximum of 5 business days. After the 5 business days, if we have not heard from you either by e-mail or by phone (if there is no answer at your phone number, we will attempt to leave a message) we will send out what we have of your order and refund you the amount of what we are out of stock of. |
|Can I Request More Photos of an Item?|
|If you would like more photos of an item, please feel free to e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will make every attempt to take additional photos of the fabric you are requesting. However, please do not e-mail us asking for more photos after you have placed your order. |
|What does continuous yardage mean?|
|When you order more than one yard of fabric ( for example, 3 yards), It will be sent as one continuous 3 yard piece.|
Unless otherwise indicated we cut continuous yards. Noteable exceptions include assortment packs, where cuts of yards will be indicated in product description.
If, for any reason, we are unable to fulfill your order with one continuous piece, we will contact you before continuing.
|How wide are the fabrics that you sell?|
|In most cases, our fabrics are 44/45 inches wide. This applies to most of the cotton and polyester-cotton prints.|
We do have some fabrics (for example, upholstery) that are 58 - 60" in width.
|Can I return fabric if it has color run after washing?|
|No. Although we do our best to provide quality fabrics, we cannot control which dyes are used by the fabric manufacturers. It is a well known fact that certain fabric dyes (in particular reds, purples, and blacks) may cause color run, even in cold water. We recommend you color-test a small portion of the fabric before washing.|
|I placed my order a while ago, when will I receive it?|
|Orders are typically processed within 1 business day after the order is placed. The day the order is processed is when it will go in the mail (this does not include holidays on which there is no mail service.) The typical transit time for domestic USPS mail is between 5 - 7 business days. Transit time for international shipping varies. If significant time has passed since you placed your order and you have not received it, please contact us and we will verify when the package had been shipped. Unfortunately, once the package has been passed on to USPS or UPS, it is out of our hands how long it will take to be delivered to you. GotFabric is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.|
|Can I specify how I want my fabric packaged? |
|Our shipping rates are charged depending on the dollar amount of your order. Although you can request a specific method of packaging for your order (such as a box as opposed to an envelope) we are only able to accommodate your request if the cost of shipping falls within amount that was charged to you. We often times use USPS Flat Rate envelopes and boxes to help save you money. Whether your order is shipped in a box or an envelope would be determined by how much fabric is in your order.|
|Do you use Flat Rate boxes and envelopes through USPS? |
|We do use flat rate shipping options as much as possible. This is to make sure that you get your order in the quickest, most efficient way possible while also saving you money. (Let's face it, shipping to or from Hawaii is not exactly inexpensive.) However, whether or not we are able to use flat rate boxes or envelopes to ship your order depends entirely on what you order and how much of it you order.|
|What is the best way to contact you?|
|During business hours (Monday and Wednesday from 9:00AM - 5:00PM HST) the quickest way to get in touch with us if you have questions about placing an order or to make sure we have received your order (or if you need to cancel or change an order that has not yet been processed) is to call us at (808) 961-2113. |
Otherwise, the best way to contact us would be through e-mail at email@example.com. We respond to e-mails in the order they come in, so we ask that you give us at least 24 hours to respond on a normal business day. E-mails are responded to Monday - Friday.
|I just sent you an e-mail. When will I hear back from you?|
|We typically ask that you give us at least 24 hours to respond to your e-mail, depending on your question. If we need some time to look into your inquiry more, we will let you know and give you an estimated time when you will hear from us again. |
Please be patient as we respond to e-mails in the order they come in, however, it should not take us more than 24 hours on a normal business day to respond.
|I just left you a voicemail. How long will it take for me to hear back from you?|
|If you called us after hours or on a Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, weekend, or holiday, we ask, that you give us 24 hours to respond to you. If you feel it has been too long since you called, please feel free to call us again or send us an e-mail.||
